anyways, I've had a really tense week last week, a more stressful one this week and next week I am expecting to lay like broccoli and vegetate on the couch.
work - is evil.
well no, the people I work with are very nice and all, the the people that are in charge on the bnot sherut must have been in the bathroom when god was handing out "nice" and "consideration for others". basically they want me to work forever and ever and ever and ever and ever for no pay. I ended up saying no and I'm going to finish my last sherut days in petach tikva (I'm leaving the office on tuesday).
it's just a pity the had put a bad taste on mt sherut leumi experience.
wedding #1-
a) shabbat kala- I had a great time going to michal vises (now landenberg) shabbat. I met people I hadn't met for a long time and I gotta say it was fun to sing shabbat songs all day. only problem was that at some point I felt like a screw ball for not being te normal religious midrasha girl.
I mean, I looked at the girls around me and I know I have just as much faith and endless love to god and my religion, so much pride to be from the jewish people and I would give up almost anything I had for the love of my god. but then I look at the girls aound me and I wonder why I can't dance and feel happy like them, why can't I sing a shabbat song and feel lifted or have to live with the knowledge that after about a month in a midrasha I would go crazy. why can' I be like everyone else in showing my religious beliefs. why must my belief come out in private in my poems, pictures and photos. don't people know that one of the reasons I went into photography was to catch gods beautiful world and show the hope in it to others? don't people understand that I don't finish sentences with "god willing" because in my head everything is obviously by gods will it would be like mentioning that the sky is blue.
b) wedding - the wedding was really nice. michal looked beautiful and I loved the goofy smile she had on her face when she saw ariel (the groom). the music was outstanding. no really, I don't know when and where I'm getting married but I know I want the band that played at the wedding. I loved the music so much I ended up dancing for like two hours (and I don't dance) which calmed one of my big life long wedding fears that I won't want to dance and I'll be forced to by my mom and plain peer pressure.
wedding #2 -
a) shabbat kala - was great as every shabbat with the girls.
only problem was that there was no air conditioning and I think at some point I was close to tears from the sheer heat and humidity. I can't believe michal is getting married, I mean sure I knew it was coming (they've been dating for two years) but she's like the kid sister in the group. she's my little pink thing!
I also had a really nice and long conversation with yael and adi, man I love those girls, how can they always get me to calm down and feel better I don't know but somehow they always can.
b) wedding - well it hasn't happened yet but I'm really excited.
as I said already, I can't believe michal is getting married.

well, I haven't really written for a while, ok so there was the post last week but i'm not sure how much that counts because it was a questionnaire thingie, and don't look at me like that I'm busy.

so, I've had a good week in the mean time.
today my boss didn't come to work and I got to do my favorite thing in the office which is basically just laze around.
I went yesterday with the girls in my apartment to a picnic and we played all kinds of ball games. until we sat on the grass and started talking I don't really think I realized how close we are till the end of the year and how much I'm going to miss them. I mean, sure we've had our fights and every week when it's someones turn to clean the whole place breaks down and the apartment has an eternal stench, but we've also laugthed together this year. we've sat till like 3 am and talked, and lagthed and cried and planned shabboses that never worked out and most of all we became apart of eatch others life. part of our daily routines.
I don't know the year is close to an end and I'm happy about it (god don't get me wrong, so abso-fucking-lutly happy) but I just realized how much I'll miss these girls.

I really want to say something. I want to post a post that will show my sorrow for am israels loss, the loss we are reminded of every year. the loss of the temple we will never get back and was destroyed because of our own sins. I want to write about the glory of our nation, a nation that has stood strong for 3000 years remembering our flaws and has moved on trying with each step to correct our ways. I want to write about how lucky we are to have this country, how unbelievably blessed I am to live in jerusalem. I want to write that being in israel brings us hope. hope for a better future, hope for the building of a new temple, hope for becoming whole again becoming one nation and being one again with our god. I want to write, but sometimes even words can't express ones feelings. zsom kal to all you crazy kids.

maybe it's me maybe it's because it's just because it's the middle of the week but I'm tiered and bummed out. why? I don't know. it could be because I've been doing absolutely-fuckin-nothing all day even though I woke up in a mood to do stuff, and help my country. but what can I say, we finished most I te things we had to do yesterday and the most intresting thing Iv"e done today is watch some death note episodes. maybe it's because I had a bad lunch. or it could be because I'm tiered for some unknown reason and my fan in my room has decided to die. then again it could be that chaim is in miluim and I haven't seen him since Saturday night. and no matter how many sweet smss he sends me it's not the same as actually being in his arms and smelling his smell (he always smells really good because he takes between 2-3 showers a day). yawn.

hey,
I know I haven't written for a while (why do all my posts start like that?), but just wanted to update.
Chaim and I talked after I hung out with aaron and we kinda admitted out loud that were love each other.
I know people have been telling me I've been in love for a while but till those words came out I don't think I truly processed it.
we went yesterday to shrek and it was great but something was missing. I loved it, and it was funny but it didn't have the unspeakable charm and magic that the first movies had (then again it just may be the lack of smash mouth songs).
inbal and stephenie are the best cuddle bunnies a girl can ask for.
and now?
well now I'm sitting at my desk at work, writing a post and listening to country music feeling not too bad.

just kidding. so, since I never update about things in my life when it's the proper time to update I'll just have to update now.

why you ask?
well, after going out and playing pool with inbal and stephenie and being all smoked on by guys (hence the stinkyness) we got back to the apartment at 12:30. Chaim then called me at about 1:00 and told me he just finished work and wanted to see me , and well since I hadn't seen him for a day and a half and kinda missed him (I know I'm pathetic, don't mock me!) I agreed.
anyways, we ended up going to a bar and sharing a waffle and then just sitting and talking. by the time I got to my apartment it was 4:00 and by the time I got into bed it was 4:30. which would have been ok if I didn't have to wake up at 7:00.
of course I promptly woke up at 8:00, but hey. yawn. is tiered, but happy.
